Just diagnosed with AML (Acute myelogenous Leukemia)

I have had low platelet counts for many years and on every annual it has been considered stable, however on my annual this year April 25, the platelet count had]dropped , and Dr.Pejic at Tulane  City clinic urged me to go to a hermatologist , and i got time for June 30 2016, with a Dr Lessinger and during the visit it was s decided that i should have a bone marrow autopsy, on monday Dr Lessinger called me in the morning  and recommended to visit Dr Helen Safah a  leukemia speicalis, where there 930 on tuesday  the 12 of July,

She told me to go home and pack as soon as possible for immediate treatment at Tulane Bone Marrow Clinic, rushed and they wanted me to go through a test program with a proven cholesterol drug, called Pravastatin before the standard leukemia treatment, however this drug was not available from the manufacturer Bristol Myers, before thursday 14th, so i checked into the clinic that morning, did all preparation and the administration of the drug could not start before Friday, ( Neew to take 4 x4 pills 80 milligram within a 2 hour period for 4 days, before the ordinary chemo drug Cytarabine and Idarubicin can be administered, I am now in this treatment and the chemo will start Monday the 18th,

After a good trip from New Orleans in the new car I had a sleepless night, why I do not know, it must be the age, the weather is a fantastic , is a Halloween party at Cheryl and Borges house to night, and it's always fun,
Well be in Houston for a week, dentist, mail etc.

Back in Sweden after a fabulous trip wich we started in Tronheim, Norway on the 25 Th of May, endes in Kirkeness juni 1st, 2012. All the hype about this shipping line is correct , good food, good service, good sleeping conditions, and the spectacular views during the trip, Lofoten the Mountains, Finnmark and the North Cape with its fabulous views, as well as the same village rein deer etc. Again worth the money

Today Aril 4th, in New Orleans' the night has been full of thunder and rain, oldest daughter called 0545,school Iss closed and the boys are comming over. They are playing games,and making noise I baked for the first time blueberry muffins, easy street, when you are using the ready made stuff. Trying to learn my iPad , ok all stuff is difficult to learn for a 69 year old man, but I am comming there so amybe next time I write in this blog I may be very good

Usuki Japan

So here I am Saturday night in Usuki town, Kyushu Island , this voyage started 2005 when Stolt decided to order 2x2 chemical tanker in this little town, since started i may have been here 6 times, and now the last 1,5 week, we supposed to deliver the 8th and leave the same day for Tokyo, and onwards to Houston the 10th.

What will i take whit me when I leave ? Love for Japan and the Japanese people, they are unbelievable, friendly and polite, i classify myself as a  foreigner, but they not letting me down in anyway
